CHAPTER-I

1. Dua:In light of AL Quran

(দোয়াঃ আ‌‌ল কুরআনের আলোকে)

٦٠- وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ

And your Lord says: “Call on Me; I Will answer your (Prayer)”. (Sūra 40: Mū-min, Ayat: 60).

١٨٦- وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ ۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِ ۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا لِي وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا بِي لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ ◯

“When my servants ask thee concerning Me I am indeed close (to them); I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me; let them also with a will listen to My call and believe in Me; that they may walk in the right way”.(Sūra 2: Baqara, Ayat: 186). 1

ادْعُونِي or دعاء means Prayer, Calling i.e., Dua (Blessing).

“Dua is one of the very important notions in the Quran, which is very difficult to translate. Equivalents like praying, calling, or supplicating do not precisely convey the profound meaning of this word, so in this article we will just use the term dua and will gradually explain its meaning. We will also discuss the different types of dua and how we can improve our duas to increase the possibility of their being answered by God (Allah)”.

الدعاء في المصطلح الإسلامي هو فعل الدعاء. إنها الدعوة إلى الله تعالى. محادثة مع الله خالقنا وربنا العليم والقدير

· “In Islamic terminology dua is the act of supplication. It is calling out to Allah; it is a conversation with Allah, our Creator, our Lord, the All Knowing, and the All Powerful”.(Source: DUA (SUPPLICATION) (PART 1 OF 4): WHAT IS DUA).

· ٤١- بَلْ إِيَّاهُ تَدْعُونَ فَيَكْشِفُ مَا تَدْعُونَ إِلَيْهِ إِن شَاءَ ...◯ “Nay On Him would ye call and if it be His Will He would remove (the distress) which occasioned your call upon Him....” (Sūra 6: An’ām, Ayat: 41) (বরং তোমরা তো তাঁকেই (আল্লাহ তায়ালাকেই) ডাকবে। অতঃপর যে বিপদের জন্যে তাঁকে ডাকবে, তিনি ইচ্ছা করলে তা দূরও করে দেন। [ সুরা আন’য়াম ৬:৪১ ][সম্পাদনা]

· ٤٢- وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمَمٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَأَخَذْنَاهُم بِالْبَأْسَاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَتَضَرَّعُونَ ◯ “Before thee We sent (Apostles) to many nations and We afflicted the nations with suffering and adversity that they might learn humility”. (Sūra 6: An’ām, Ayat: 42) (আর আমি আপনার পূর্ববর্তী উম্মতদের প্রতিও পয়গাম্বর প্রেরণ করেছিলাম। অতঃপর আমি তাদেরকে অভাব-অনটন ও রোগ-ব্যাধি দ্বারা পাকড়াও করেছিলাম-যাতে তারা কাকুতি মিনতি করে)। [সুরা আনয়া’ম ৬:৪২]

[আমার বান্দারা যখন তোমাকে আমার ব্যাপারে জিজ্ঞেস করে: অবশ্যই আমি তো সবসময় কাছেই আছি। আমাকে যে ডাকে, আমি তার ডাকেই সাড়া দেই, যখনি সে ডাকে। তাহলে তারাও যেন আমার ডাকে সাড়া দিতে চেষ্টা করে, আমার উপর বিশ্বাস রাখে, যেন তারা সঠিক পথে চলতে পারে। (আল-বাক্বরাহ ১৮৬)]

رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ ◯

(They prayed): “Our Lord ! In Thee do we trust, And to Thee do we turn In repentance : to Thee Is (our) final Goal”. (Sūra 60: Mumtahana, Ayat: 4).

[হযরত ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) ও তাঁহার অনুসারিগণ বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমরা তোমারই উপর নির্ভর করিয়াছি, তোমারই অভিমুখী হইয়াছি এবং প্রত্যাবর্তন তো তোমারই নিকট (সূরাহ মুম্তাহিনা, সূরাহ নং-৬০, আয়াত নং-৪)]

٥. إِيَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِينُ ◯ “Thee do we worship, And Thine aid we seek”.(Sūra 1: Fātiha,Ayat: 4, Verses 7 — Makki; Revealed at Makkah Muazzema)

"আমরা শুধু আপনারই ইবাদত করি, শুধু আপনারই নিকট সাহায্য প্রার্থনা করি"। (সূরাহ আল ফাতিহা, সূরাহ নং-১: আয়াত নং- ৪)।

Dua of several Prophets of Islam

Combined Blessing (Dua) of Ancient father of ‘Adam’ & mother ‘Hawa’ (‘Alyhimus Salaam)

আদি পিতা আবুল বাশার আদম (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) এবং আদি মাতা উম্মুল বাশার হাওয়া এর আল্লাহ তা'য়ালার নিকট সম্মিলিত দোয়া

٢٣- قَالَا رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ ◯ They said: “our Lord! we have wronged our own souls: if Thou forgive us not and bestow not upon us Thy mercy we shall certainly be lost.” (Sūra 7: A’rāf, Ayat: 23)

[আদম আলাইহিমুস সালাম ও তাঁর স্ত্রী হযরত হাওয়া বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমরা নিজেদের প্রতি অন্যায় করিয়াছি, যদি তুমি আমাদিগকে ক্ষমা না কর এবং দয়া না কর তবে তাতে আমরা ক্ষতিগ্রস্থদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হইব (সূরাহ আল আরাফ, সূরাহ নং-৭ আ'রাফঃ আয়াত নং-২৩)]

Blessing (Dua) of Sunny (2nd.) ‘Adam called Nooh (Noha) ‘Alyhimus Salaam

(নূহ আলাইহিমুস সালাম এর দোয়া)

٤١- وَقَالَ ارْكَبُوا فِيهَا بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ مَجْرَاهَا وَمُرْسَاهَا ۚ إِنَّ رَبِّي لَغَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ◯ “So he said: “Embark ye On the Ark, In the name of Allah, Whether it move Or be at rest ! For my Lord is, be sure, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful” ! ” (Sūra 11: Hūd, Ayat: 41).

[হযরত নূহ (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) নৌকায় আরোহণের পর পাঠ করেছিলেন]: আল্লাহর নামে ইহার গতি ও স্থিতি, আমার প্রতিপালক অবশ্যই ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু (সূরাহ হূদ, সূরাহ নং- ১১, আয়াত নং- ৪১)]

Dua of Father of the Muslim Nation Ibraheem (Abraham) ‘Alyhimus Salaam

(জাতির পিতা ইবরাহীম আলাইহিমুস সালামের দোয়া)

١٢٨- رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ ◯

“Our Lord! make of us Muslims bowing to Thy (Will) and of our progeny a people Muslim bowing to Thy (Will) and show us our places for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us (in mercy); for Thou art the Oft-Returning Most-Merciful”. (Sūra 2: Baqara, Ayat: 128) [হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমাদের উভয়কে তোমার একান্ত অনুগত কর এবং আমাদের বংশধর হইতে তোমার এক অনুগত উম্মত কর। আমাদিগকে ইবাদতের নিয়ম-পদ্ধতি দেখিয়ে দাও এবং আমাদের প্রতি ক্ষমাশীল হও। তুমি অত্যন্ত ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু (সূরাহ আল বাক্বরাহ, আয়াত নং-১২৮)]

٣٥- وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَـٰذَا الْبَلَدَ آمِنًا وَاجْنُبْنِي وَبَنِيَّ أَن نَّعْبُدَ الْأَصْنَامَ ◯

“Remember Abraham said: “O my Lord ! make this city One of peace and security : And preserve me and my sons From worshipping idols”.[Sūra 14: Ibrāhīm (Abraham), Ayat: 35]

[হযরত ইব্রাহীম (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমার প্রতিপালক! এই নগরীকে (মক্কা মুয়াজ্জিমা) নিরাপদ করিও এবং আমাকে ও আমার পুত্রগণকে প্রতিমা পূজা হইতে দূরে রাখিও। (সূরাহ ইব্রাহীম, সূরাহ নং-১৪, আয়াত নং-৩৫)]

٣٦- رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَن تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ ◯

“ O my Lord ! they have indeed Led astray many among mankind ; He then who follows my (ways) Is of me, and he that Disobeys me,—but Thou Art indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful”. [Sūra 14: Ibrāhīm (Abraham), Ayat: 36].

[হে আমার প্রতিপালক! এই সকল প্রতিমা তো বহু মানুষকে বিভ্রান্ত করিয়াছে। সুতরাং, যে আমার অনুসরণ করিবে সে-ই আমার দলভুক্ত, কিন্তু কেহ আমার অবাধ্য হইলে তুমি তো ক্ষমাশীল, পরম দয়ালু (আয়াত নং-৩৬)]

٣٧- رَّبَّنَا إِنِّي أَسْكَنتُ مِن ذُرِّيَّتِي بِوَادٍ غَيْرِ ذِي زَرْعٍ عِندَ بَيْتِكَ الْمُحَرَّمِ رَبَّنَا لِيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ فَاجْعَلْ أَفْئِدَةً مِّنَ النَّاسِ تَهْوِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَارْزُقْهُم مِّنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْكُرُونَ ◯

“O our Lord ! I have made Some of my offspring to dwell In a valley without cultivation, By Thy Sacred House ; In order, O our Lord, that they May establish regular Prayer : So fill the hearts of some Among men with love towards them, And feed them with Fruits : So that they may give thanks”. [Sūra 14: Ibrāhīm (Abraham), Ayat: 37].

[হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমি আমার বংশধরদের কতককে বসবাস করাইলাম অনুর্বর উপত্যকায় তোমার পবিত্র গৃহের নিকট, হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! এই জন্য যে, উহারা যেন সালাত কায়েম করে। অতএব তুমি কিছু লোকের অন্তর উহাদের প্রতি অনুরাগী করিয়া দাও এবং ফল ফলাদি দ্বারা উহাদের রিযকের ব্যবস্থা করিও, যাহাতে উহারা কৃতজ্ঞতা প্রকাশ করে (আয়াত নং- ৩৭)]

٣٨- رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَمَا نُعْلِنُ ۗ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَى اللَّـهِ مِن شَيْءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ

“O our Lord! truly Thou Dost know what we conceal And what we reveal : For nothing whatever is hidden From God, whether on earth Or in heaven”. [Sūra 14: Ibrāhīm (Abraham), Ayat: 38].

[হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! তুমি তো জান যাহা আমরা গোপন করি ও যাহা আমরা প্রকাশ করি; আকাশ মন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর কিছুই আল্লাহর নিকট গোপন থাকে না (আয়াত নং-৩৮)]

- رَبِّ اجْعَلْنِي مُقِيمَ الصَّلَاةِ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِي ۚ رَبَّنَا وَتَقَبَّلْ دُعَاءِ

“O my Lord ! make me One who establishes regular Prayer, And also (raise such) Among my offspring O our Lord ! And accept Thou my Prayer”. [Sūra 14: Ibrāhīm (Abraham),

Ayat: 40].

[ইব্রাহীম (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে সালাত কায়েমকারী কর এবং আমার বংশধরদের মধ্য হইতেও। হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! আমার প্রার্থনা কবুল কর। (সূরাহ ইব্রাহীম, সূরাহ নং-১৪ : আয়াত নং ৪০)]

- رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا رَبَّنَا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

“Our Lord ! Make us not A (test and) trial For the Unbelievers, But forgive us, our Lord ! For Thou art the Exalted In Might, the Wise.” (Sūra 60: Mumtahana, Ayat: 5).

[হযরত ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) ও তাঁহার অনুসারিগণ বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে প্রতিপালক! তুমি আমাদিগকে কাফিরদের পীড়নের পাত্র করিও না। হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক। তুমি আমাদিগকে ক্ষমা কর; তুমি তো পরাক্রমশালী, প্রজ্ঞাময় (সূরাহ মুমতাহিনা, আয়াত নং-৫)]

- رَبِّ هَبْ لِي حُكْمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ “O my Lord! bestow wisdom On me, and join me With the righteous;” (Sūra 26: Shu’arāa, Ayat: 83)

[হযরত ইব্রাহীম (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে জ্ঞান দান কর এবং সত্যপরায়ণদের মধ্যে শামিল কর (সূরাহ আশ শু'আরা, সূরাহ নং- ২৬, আয়াত নং- ৮৩)]

- رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ “O my Lord ! grant me A righteous (son) !” (Sūra 37: Sāffāt, Ayat: 100)

[হযরত ইবরাহীম (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে এক সৎকর্মপরায়ন সন্তান দান কর (সূরাহ সাফফাত, সূরাহ নং- ৩৭, আয়াত নং-১০০)]

Dua of Yusuf (Josef) ‘Alyhimus Salaam

(ইউছুফ আলাইহিমুস সালাম এর দোয়া)

٣٣- قَالَ رَبِّ السِّجْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ ۖ وَإِلَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّي كَيْدَهُنَّ أَصْبُ إِلَيْهِنَّ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الْجَاهِلِينَ ◯

“He said : “ O my Lord ! The prison is more To my liking than that To which they invite me: Unless Thou turn away Their snare from me, I should (in my youthful folly) Feel inclined towards them And join the ranks of the ignorant.” (Sūra 12: Yūsuf, or Joseph, Ayat: 33)

[ইউছুফ (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমার প্রতিপালক! এই নারীগণ আমাকে যাহার প্রতি আহ্বান করিতেছে তাহা অপেক্ষা কারাগার আমার নিকট অধিক প্রিয়। আপনি যদি উহাদের ছলনা হইতে আমাকে রক্ষা না করেন তবে আমি উহাদের প্রতি আকৃষ্ট হইয়া পড়িব এবং অজ্ঞদের অন্তর্ভ‚ক্ত হইব (সূরাহ ইউসুফ, সূরাহ নং-১২, আয়াত নং- ৩৩)]

١٠١- رَبِّ قَدْ آتَيْتَنِي مِنَ الْمُلْكِ وَعَلَّمْتَنِي مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ ۚ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنتَ وَلِيِّي فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ تَوَفَّنِي مُسْلِمًا وَأَلْحِقْنِي بِالصَّالِحِينَ ◯

“O my Lord! Thou hast Indeed bestowed on me Some power, and taught me Something of the interpretation Of dreams and events,—O Thou Creator of the heavens And the earth! Thou art My Protector in this world And in the Hereafter. Take Thou my soul (at death) As one submitting to Thy Will (As a Muslim), and unite me With the righteous.” (Sūra 12: Yūsuf, or Joseph, Ayat: 101)

ইউসুফ (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমার প্রতিপালক! তুমি আমাকে রাজ্য দান করিয়াছ এবং স্বপ্নের ব্যাখ্যা শিক্ষা দিয়াছ। হে আকাশমন্ডলী ও পৃথিবীর স্রষ্টা! তুমিই ইহলোক ও পরলোকে আমার অভিভাবক। তুমি আমাকে মুসলিম হিসাবে মৃত্যু দাও এবং আমাকে সৎর্কমপরায়ণদরে অন্তর্ভূক্ত কর (সূরাহ ইউসুফ: আয়াত নং -১০১)]

Dua of Wife of Imran ‘Alyhimus Salaam

(ইমরান আলাইহিমুস সালামের স্ত্রীর দোয়া)

٣٥- إِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ عِمْرَانَ رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ ◯ “Behold! a woman of Imran said: “O my Lord! I do dedicate unto Thee what is in my womb for Thy special service so accept this of me for Thou hearest and knowest all things.” (Sūra 3: Āl-i-‘Imrān, 35)

[ইমরান আলাইহিমুস সালামের স্ত্রী বলেছিলেন): হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমার গর্ভে যাহা আছে তাহা একান্ত তোমার জন্য আমি উৎসর্গ করিলাম। সুতরাং তুমি আমার নিকট হইতে উহা কবুল কর, নিশ্চয়ই তুমি সর্বশ্রোতা, সর্বজ্ঞ (সূরাহ আলে ইমরানঃ আয়াত নং-৩৫)]

Dua of Zakaria ‘Alyhimus Salaam

যাকারিয়া (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) এর দোয়া

٣٨-هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ ◯

“There did Zakariya pray to his Lord saying: “O my Lord! Grant unto me from Thee a progeny that is pure; for Thou art He that heareth prayer!” (Sūra 3: Āl-i-‘Imrān, Ayat: 38).

[হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে তুমি তোমার নিকট হইতে সৎ বংশধর দান কর। নিশ্চয়ই তুমি প্রার্থনা শ্রবণকারী (সূরাহ আলে ইমরান, আয়াত নং-৩৮)]

٤١- قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَل لِّي آيَةً ۖ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا ۗ وَاذْكُر رَّبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ ◯

He said: “O my Lord! Give me a sign!” “Thy Sign” was the answer “shall be that thou shalt speak to no man for three days but with signals. Then celebrate the praises of thy Lord again and again and glorify Him in the evening and in the morning.” (Sūra 3: Āl-i-‘Imrān, Ayat: 41).

[হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে একটি নিদর্শন দাও (সূরাহ আলে ইমরান, আয়াত নং- ৪১)]

Dua of Musa (Moses) ‘Alyhimus Salaam

(মুসা আলাইহিমুস সালাম এর দোয়া)

١٥١- قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ ◯

Moses prayed: “O my Lord! forgive me and my brother! admit us to Thy mercy! for Thou art the Most Merciful of those who sow mercy!” (Sūra 7: A’rāf, Ayat: 151)

[হযরত মুসা (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমাকে ও আমার ভ্রাতাকে ক্ষমা কর এবং আমাদিগকে তোমার রহমতের মধ্যে দাখিল কর। তুমিই শ্রেষ্ঠ দয়ালু (সূরাহ আল আ'রাফ, সূরাহ নং-৭ আয়াত নং -১৫১)]

٢٥- قَالَ رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي ◯

(Moses) said : “ O my Lord ! Expand me my breast ; (Sūra 20: Tā-Há, Ayat: 25)

[হযরত মুসা (আলাইহিমুস সালাম) বলিয়াছিলেন]: হে আমার প্রতিপালক! আমার বক্ষ প্রশস্ত করিয়া দাও (সূরাহ ত্বহা, সূরাহ নং-২০, আয়াত নং- ২৫)]

٢٦- وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي ◯

“Ease my task for me;”(Sūra 20: Tā-Há, Ayat: 26)

٢٧- وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي ◯

“And remove the impediment From my speech.” (Sūra 20: Tā-Há, Ayat: 27)

[আমার জিহ্বার জড়তা দূর করিয়া দাও (আয়াত নং ২৭)]

٢٨- يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي ◯

“ So they may understand What I say :

(Sūra 20: Tā-Há, Ayat: 28)

[যাহাতে উহারা আমার কথা বুঝিতে পারে (আয়াত নং ২৮)]

٢٩- وَاجْعَلْ لِي وَزِيرًا مِنْ أَهْلِي ◯

“And give me a Minister From my family”.

(Sūra 20: Tā-Há, Ayat: 29)

[আমার জন্য মনোনীত করিয়া দাও একজন সাহায্যকারী আমার আপনজনের মধ্য হইতে (আয়াত নং ২৯)]

١١٤- فَتَعَالَى اللَّـهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِالْقُرْآنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يُقْضَىٰ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُ وَقُلْ رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا ◯

High above all is Allah, The King, the Truth ! Be not in haste With the Qur-ān before Its revelation to thee Is completed, but say, “ O my Lord ! advance me In knowledge.”(Sūra 20: Tā-Há, Ayat: 114)

Dua of Accompanies of Easa (Jesus Christ) ‘Alyhimus Salaam

(ঈসা আলাইহিমুস সালাম এর হাওয়ারী বা অনুসারীদের দোয়া)

٥٣- رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ ◯

“Our Lord! we believe in what thou hast revealed and we follow the Apostle (Easa ‘Alyhimus Salaam i.e., Jesus Christ); then write us down among those who bear witness.” (Sūra 3: Āl-i-‘Imrān, Ayat: 53).

[হে আমাদের প্রতিপালক! তুমি যাহা অবতীর্ণ করিয়াছ তাহাতে আমরা ঈমান আনিয়াছি এবং আমরা এই রাসুলের (হযরত ঈসা 'আলাইহিমুস সালাম) অনুসরণ করিয়াছি। সুতরাং আমাদিগকে সাক্ষ্যদানকারীদের তালিকাভুক্ত কর] (সূরাহ আলে ইমরান, আয়াত নং-৫৩)।

Dua Yunus

(দোয়ায়ে ইউনুস)

٨٧- وَذَا النُّونِ إِذْ ذَهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ نَقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَىٰ فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ أَنْ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ ◯

Meaning: And remember Ẓun-nūn, When he departed in wrath: He imagined that We Had no power over him ! But he cried through the depths Of darkness, “There is No Ila-h but Thou : Glory to Thee : I was Indeed wrong !” (Surah Al Ambia, Ayat: 87)

উচ্চারণ: লা- ইলাহা ইল্লা আনতা সুবহানাকা ইন্নী কুনতু মিনাজ জোয়ালিমীন।

অর্থ: তুমি ব্যতীত কোনো উপাস্য নেই; তুমি পবিত্র, আমি গোনাহগার। -(সূরাহ আম্বিয়া : আয়াত : ৮৭)

٦٠- وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ

And your Lord says: “Call on Me; I Will answer your (Prayer)”. (Sūra 40: Mū-min, Ayat: 60).

In response to this prayer, Allah almighty said,

٨٨- فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُنْجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ◯

So We listened to him : And delivered him from Distress : and thus do We Deliver those who have faith. (Surah Al Ambia, Ayat:88).

‘অতঃপর আমি তার (সেই) আহবানে সাড়া দিলাম এবং তাকে দুশ্চিন্তা থেকে মুক্তি দিলাম। আমি এমনিভাবে বিশ্ববাসীদেরকে মুক্তি দিয়ে থাকি।’ -সূরা আম্বিয়া : ৮৮

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيم

١. بِسۡمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِِ ◯

1. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

٢. ٱلۡحَمۡدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَِ ◯

2. Praise be to Allah,

The Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds ;

٣. ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِِ ◯

3. Most Gracious, Most Merciful ;

٤. مَـٰلِكِ يَوۡمِ ٱلدِّينِِ ◯

4. Master of the Day of Judgment.

٥. إِيَّاكَ نَعۡبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسۡتَعِينُ ◯

5. Thee do we worship,

And Thine aid we seek.

٦. ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٲطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَِ ◯

6. Show us the straight way,

٧. صِرَٲطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ◯

7. The way of those on whom

Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace,

Those whose (portion)

Is not wrath,

Necessity reciting of Sura Fatiha in Salat (Namaz)

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated 'Ubada bin As-Samit Rodiallahu ‘Anhu:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever does not recite Al-Fatiha in his prayer, his prayer is invalid."

Conversation with Allah by reciting of Surah Al Fatihaa

وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْعَلاَءِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ مَنْ صَلَّى صَلاَةً لَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِيهَا بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ فَهْىَ خِدَاجٌ - ثَلاَثًا - غَيْرُ تَمَامٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقِيلَ لأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ إِنَّا نَكُونُ وَرَاءَ الإِمَامِ ‏.‏ فَقَالَ اقْرَأْ بِهَا فِي نَفْسِكَ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏"‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى قَسَمْتُ الصَّلاَةَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي نِصْفَيْنِ وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ فَإِذَا قَالَ الْعَبْدُ ‏{‏ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ‏}‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى حَمِدَنِي عَبْدِي وَإِذَا قَالَ ‏{‏ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ‏}‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَثْنَى عَلَىَّ عَبْدِي ‏.‏ وَإِذَا قَالَ ‏{‏ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ‏}‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ مَجَّدَنِي عَبْدِي - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً فَوَّضَ إِلَىَّ عَبْدِي - فَإِذَا قَالَ ‏{‏ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ‏}‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ هَذَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ ‏.‏ فَإِذَا قَالَ ‏{‏ اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ * صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ‏}‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ هَذَا لِعَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنِي بِهِ الْعَلاَءُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَيْهِ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ أَنَا عَنْهُ ‏.‏

Abu Huraira reported:

The Apostle of Allah (ﷺ) said: If anyone observes prayer in which he does not recite Umm al-Qur'an, It is deficient [he said this three times] and not complete. It was said to Abu Huraira: At times we are behind the Imam. He said: Recite it inwardly, for he had heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) declare that Allah the Exalted had said: I have divided the prayer into two halves between Me and My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks. When the servant says ‏ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ‏(Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the universe), Allah the Most High says قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى حَمِدَنِي عَبْدِي(My servant has praised Me. And when he (the servant) says:‏ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ‏The Most Compassionate, the Merciful, Allah the Most High says: قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى أَثْنَى عَلَىَّ عَبْدِي (My servant has lauded Me). And when he (the servant) says: ‏‏ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ‏ (Master of the Day of Judgment), He remarks: قَالَ مَجَّدَنِي عَبْدِي - وَقَالَ مَرَّةً فَوَّضَ إِلَىَّ عَبْدِي (My servant has glorified Me. and sometimes He would say: My servant entrusted (his affairs) to Me). And when he (the worshipper) says: ‏ إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ‏‏ (Thee do we worship and of Thee do we ask help), He (Allah) says: ‏ قَالَ هَذَا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ عَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَل (This is between Me and My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks for). Then, when he (the worshipper) says: اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ * صِرَاطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ‏‏ ‏.‏ (Guide us to the straight path, the path of those to whom Thou hast been Gracious not of those who have incurred Thy displeasure, nor of those who have gone astray), He (Allah) says: قَالَ هَذَا لِعَبْدِي وَلِعَبْدِي مَا سَأَلَ (This is for My servant, and My servant will receive what he asks for).

الْمُعَوِّذَاتِ

· حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَكَى يَقْرَأُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ الْمُعَوِّذَاتِ وَيَنْفِثُ فَلَمَّا اشْتَدَّ وَجَعُهُ كُنْتُ أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَمْسَحُ بِيَدِهِ رَجَاءَ بَرَكَتِهَا ‏.‏

Narrated by Aisha (Rodiallahu Anha), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite Surah Falaaq and Surah Naas and blow on his body whenever he felt sick. When his illness increased, I would recite it to him and rub his hands on his body in the hope of blessing. • Tahkeek Albani: Sahih.

· আয়িশাহ (রাঃ), থেকে বর্ণিতঃ নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) কখনও অসুস্থ বোধ করলে আরোগ্য লাভের জন্য সূরা ফালাক ও সূরা নাস পড়ে নিজ দেহে ফুঁ দিতেন। তাঁর অসুস্থতা বেড়ে গেলে আমি তা তাঁর উপর পাঠ করতাম এবং তাঁর হাত তাঁর দেহে বরকতের আশায় মলে দিতাম। তাহকীক আলবানীঃ সহীহ।

Surah Falaq: Sūra 113: Falaq, or The Dawn Verses 5 — Makki; Revealed at Mecca — Sections 1

١- قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ ◯

1. Say: I seek refuge With the Lord of the Dawn,

٢- مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ ◯

2. From the mischief Of created things;

٣- وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ ◯

3. From the mischief Of Darkness as it overspreads ;

٤- وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ فِي الْعُقَدِ ◯

4. From the mischief Of those who practice Secret Arts ;

٥- وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ◯

5. And from the mischief Of the envious one As he practices envy.

Surah Naas: Sūra 114: Nās, or Mankind

Verses 6 — Makki; Revealed at Mecca — Sections 1

١. قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ ◯

1. Say: I seek refuge

With the Lord

And Cherisher of Mankind,

٢. مَلِكِ النَّاسِ ◯

2. The King (or Ruler)

Of Mankind,

٣. إِلَـٰهِ النَّاسِ ◯

3. The Allah (or Judge)

Of Mankind, —

٤. مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ ◯

4. From the mischief

Of the Whisperer

(Of Evil) who withdraws

(After his whisper),—

٥. الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ ◯

5. (The same) who whispers

Into the hearts of Mankind,—

٦. مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ◯

6. Among Jinns

And among Men.

Benefits reciting of Surah Naas & Falaq:

HADITH ON SURAH FALAQ AND NAAS:[সম্পাদনা]

Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to seek protection against the evil of jinn and the evil eyes till Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas were revealed. After they were revealed, he took to them for seeking Allah’s protection and left everything besides them. (Riyad As Salihin – [At- Tirmidhi).

Narrated by 'Aisha (may Allaah be pleased with her) Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went to bed every night, he used to cup his hands together and blow over it after reciting Surat Al-Ikhlas, Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An-Nas, and then rub his hands over whatever parts of his body he was able to rub, starting with his head, face and front of his body. He used to do that three times.(Sahih Bukhari)

Ayatul Kursi (255 Ayat of Al Baqorah):

٢٥٥- اللَّـهُ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ ◯

255. Allah! there is no Allah but He the living the Self-subsisting Eternal. No slumber can seize him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to his creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of his knowledge except as He willeth. His throne doth extend over the heavens and the earth and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. For He is the Most High the Supreme (in glory).

Benefits reciting of Ayatul Kursi

Af ter each prescribed prayer (salah), there will be nothing stranding between him and his entering paradise except death.” The prophet (pbuh) Sahih Al Jami, (No. 6464).

15. Last 2 (two) Ayats of Surah Al Baqorah:

٢٨٥- آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ آمَنَ بِاللَّـهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِّن رُّسُلِهِ ۚ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ ◯

“The Apostle believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah His angels His books and His Apostles “We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His Apostles.” And they say: “We hear and we obey; (We seek) Thy forgiveness Our Lord and to Thee is the end of all journeys.” (Sūra 2: Baqara, Ayat: 285)

٢٨٦- لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّـهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا ۚ لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِن نَّسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِنَا ۚ رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ ۖ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا ۚ أَنتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ◯

“On no soul doth Allah place a burden greater than it can bear. It gets every good that it earns and it suffers every ill that it earns. (Pray): “Our Lord! condemn us not if we forget or fall into error; our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which Thou didst lay on those before us; Our Lord! lay not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Blot out our sins and grant us forgiveness. Have mercy on us. Thou art our Protector; help us against those who stand against faith” (Sūra 2: Baqara, Ayat: 286)

Benefits of reciting last 2 Ayats of Surah Baqorah: The last two Ayats of Surah Baqarah are two of the most important verses of the Quran. Every verse is precious and important, but sometimes, you get verses like this that have so much importance attached to them by Allah (ta’ala) Himself.

We highlight some of the benefits of these last two verses, according to the narrations from the Prophet (SAW) himself, and hopefully, this inspires you to take these verses as a companion in your daily life.

Protection at Night

In a hadith narrated by Abu Mas’ud, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “If somebody recited the last two Verses of Surat Al-Baqara at night, that will be sufficient for him.” (Bukhari)

This is evidence that the last two verses of Surah Baqarah are a means of overnight protection for everyone who recites them before going to sleep.

Source of Goodness/Light

Like I said earlier, all verses in the Qur’an are special, and with purpose. But when it comes to the last two verses of Surah Baqarah, there is a special honor that is different from all other Surahs, except Al-Fatiha.

In the tafsir of Ibn Kathir on these last two verses, he talked about the hadith of Ibn Mas’ud which says: “While the Messenger of Allah was with Jibril, he heard a noise from above. Jibril lifted his sight to the sky and said, ‘This is a door that was opened just now in heaven, and it was never opened before.’ An angel came down through the door to the Prophet and said, `Receive the good news of two lights that you have been given and which no Prophet before you was given: the Opener of the Book (Al-Fatihah) and the last Ayat in Surat Al-Baqarah. You will not read a letter of them, but you will be granted its benefit.” (Muslim)

Last 3 (three) Ayats of Surah Al Hashor:

٢١- هُوَ اللَّـهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ ۖ هُوَ الرَّحْمَـٰنُ الرَّحِيمُ ◯

“Allah is He, than Whom There is no other ilah (إِلَـٰهَ);— Who knows (all things) Both secret and open ; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful” (Surah Hasor, Ayat: 22).

٢٢- هُوَ اللَّـهُ الَّذِي لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلَامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحَانَ اللَّـهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ ◯

“Allah is He, than Whom There is no other ilah (إِلَـٰهَ);— The Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), The Guardian of Faith, The Preserver of Safety, The Exalted in Might, The Irresistible, the Supreme : Glory to Allah ! (High is He) Above the partners They attribute to Him” (Surah Hasor, Ayat: 23).

Noted that Rasoolullah Sawllallahu ‘Alyhi wasallaam used to encourage to recite the above 3 three Ayats of Surah Al Hasor 2 (two) times B’ad (after) Fazar salat and B’ad Asor salat in a day.

The word of “Shifaa(Healing)” based Quranic Dua

٨٢- وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاءٌ وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۙ وَلَا يَزِيدُ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارًا ◯

We send down (stage by stage) In the Qur-ān that which Is a healing and a mercy To those who believe: To the unjust it causes Nothing but loss after loss.(Sūra 17: Al- Bani Isrā-īl, Ayat: 82)

١٣٧ فَسَيَكْفِيكَهُمُ اللَّـهُ ۚ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ ◯

“And He is the All-Hearing the All- Knowing”. (Surah Baqorah, Ayat: 137)

٨٠- وَإِذَا مَرِضْتُ فَهُوَ يَشْفِينِ ◯

“And when I am ill, It is He who cures me” ;Surah Ash Shuara, Ayat:80).

١٤- وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍ مُّؤْمِنِينَ ◯

“Heal the breasts of believers” (Surah At Taubah, Ayat:14).

٢٦- ثُمَّ أَنزَلَ اللَّـهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

“But Allah did pour His calm on the apostle and on the believers”. (Surah Taubah, Ayat: 26).

قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هُدًى وَشِفَاءٌ ۖ[সম্পাদনা]

Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe”. (Surah Fussilat, Ayat: 44).

٤- هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ ۗ

“It is He Who sent Down Tranquillity Into the hearts of The Believers, that they may Add Faith to their Faith” ; (Surah Fatah, Ayat: 04).

١٨- لَّقَدْ رَضِيَ اللَّـهُ عَنِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ يُبَايِعُونَكَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَعَلِمَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَأَثَابَهُمْ فَتْحًا قَرِيبًا ◯

Allah’s Good Pleasure Was on the Believers When they swore Fealty To thee under the Tree : He knew what was In their hearts, and He Sent down Tranquillity To them ; and He rewarded Them with a speedy Victory ; (Surah Fatah, Ayat:18).

فَأَنزَلَ اللَّـهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ وَعَلَالْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَأَلْزَمَهُمْ كَلِمَةَ التَّقْوَىٰ

26.Allah sent down His Tranquillity To His Apostle and to The Believers, and made them Stick close to the command Of self-restraint ; (Surah Fatah, Ayat: 26)

Dua with the word of “Robbanaa”

١٢٧- وَإِذْ يَرْفَعُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ الْقَوَاعِدَ مِنَ الْبَيْتِ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ ◯

“And remember Abraham and Isma`il raised the foundations of the House (with this prayer): “Our Lord! accept (this service) from us for thou art the All-Hearing the All-Knowing” (Surah Al Baqrah, Ayat: 127)

٢٠١- وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

And there are men who say: “Our Lord! give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and defend us from the torment on the fire!” (Surah Al Baqrah, Ayat: 201)

٢٥٠- وَلَمَّا بَرَزُوا لِجَالُوتَ وَجُنُودِهِ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ ◯

When they advanced to meet Goliath and his forces they prayed: “Our Lord! pour out constancy on us and make our steps firm; help us against those that reject faith.” (Surah Al Baqrah, Ayat: 250)

٩-◯ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَّا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

“Our Lord! Thou art He that will gather mankind together against a day about which there is no doubt; for Allah never fails in His promise.” (Surah Al-i-Imran, Ayat: 9)

١٦-◯ الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

(Namely) those who say: “Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us then our sins and save us from the agony of the fire.” (Surah Al-i-Imran, Ayat: 16)

٥٣-◯ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

“Our Lord! we believe in what thou hast revealed and we follow the Apostle; then write us down among those who bear witness.” (Surah Al-i-Imran, Ayat:53)

١٤٧-◯ وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّا أَن قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ

All that they said was: “Our Lord! forgive us our sins and anything we may have done that transgressed our duty; establish our feet firmly and help us against those that resist faith.” (Surah Al-i-Imran, Ayat:147)

١٩١- الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّـهَ قِيَامًا وَقُعُودًا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمْ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلْقِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقْتَ هَـٰذَا بَاطِلًا سُبْحَانَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Men who celebrate the praises of Allah standing sitting and lying down on their sides and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth (with the thought): “Our Lord! not for naught hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the fire.” (Surah Al-i-Imran, Ayat: 191)

١٩٢-◯ رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ مَن تُدْخِلِ النَّارَ فَقَدْ أَخْزَيْتَهُ ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ أَنصَارٍ

“Our Lord! any whom thou dost admit to the fire truly thou coverest with shame and never will wrong-doers find any helpers!” (Surah Al-i-Imran, Ayat: 192)

١٩٣- رَّبَّنَا إِنَّنَا سَمِعْنَا مُنَادِيًا يُنَادِي لِلْإِيمَانِ أَنْ آمِنُوا بِرَبِّكُمْ فَآمَنَّا ۚ رَبَّنَا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرْ عَنَّا سَيِّئَاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ

“Our Lord! we havhe call of one calling (us) to faith `Believe ye in the Lord’ and we have believed. Our Lord! forgive us our sins blot out from us our iniquities and take to thyself our souls in the company of the righteous.” (Surah Al-i-Imran, Ayat: 193)

١٩٤-◯ رَبَّنَا وَآتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخْزِنَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ

“Our Lord! grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through thine Apostles and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: for thou never breakest Thy promise.” (Surah Al-i-Imran, Ayat: 194)

٨٣-◯ وَإِذَا سَمِعُوا مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَى الرَّسُولِ تَرَىٰ أَعْيُنَهُمْ تَفِيضُ مِنَ الدَّمْعِ مِمَّا عَرَفُوا مِنَ الْحَقِّ ۖ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ

And when they listen to the revelation received by the Apostle thou wilt see their eyes overflowing with tears for they recognize the truth: they pray: “Our Lord! we believe; write us down among the witnesses.” (Surah Al Maida, Ayat: 83)

The Virtues of Remembrance (Dhikr) باب فَضْلِ الذِّكْرِ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَحْرِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ ‏"‏ أَلاَ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ أَعْمَالِكُمْ وَأَرْضَاهَا عِنْدَ مَلِيكِكُمْ وَأَرْفَعِهَا فِي دَرَجَاتِكُمْ وَخَيْرٍ لَكُمْ مِنْ إِعْطَاءِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْوَرِقِ وَمِنْ أَنْ تَلْقَوْا عَدُوَّكُمْ فَتَضْرِبُوا أَعْنَاقَهُمْ وَيَضْرِبُوا أَعْنَاقَكُمْ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالُوا وَمَا ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏"‏ ذِكْرُ اللَّهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ مَا عَمِلَ امْرُؤٌ بِعَمَلٍ أَنْجَى لَهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ‏.‏ It was narrated from Abu Darda that the Prophet(ﷺ) said: "Shall I not tell you of the best of your deeds, the most pleasing to your Sovereign, those that raise you most in status, that are better than your gold and silver, or meeting you enemy (in battle) and you strike their necks and they strike your necks?" They said: " WHat is that, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Remembering Allah(Dhikr)." #
